Isis Women's Resource Centre

Isis International has an extensive, unique and historic collection of feminist and women’s resource materials: books, periodicals, articles, audiovisuals and posters dating back to the early 1970s.

This rich collection documents the rise, evolution and ongoing activism, struggles, theory and practice of feminism from the early 1970s to the present day. It covers the whole range of issues that affect women globally with a special focus on the Global South. Many of these resources are from small grassroots and feminist groups in the South, and are one-of-a kind materials not found in libraries or institutional collections.

Isis International is digitising these materials in order to preserve them and make them available online. Through digitisation, the Isis International collection will be available to inspire generations of feminists and enhance inter-generational dialogues on the women’s movement histories.

At present the collection is housed on the ground floor of the Isis International Women’s House (Bahay ni Isis). Guests staying at the Isis International House are welcome to browse the collection. Others may consult the collection by appointment.
