Integrating ICT into your Organisation's Communication Strategy for Advocacy

In Asia and the Pacific region, there is a growing and intensified interest in communicating for development and human rights education. Isis aims to strengthen women's media networks and women's communication skills that work towards strengthening democratic access and control of media and ICT by women and men in the developing South for effective participation and citizenship.

We have identified the need for:

  • creating for women greater spaces in and access to mainstream media
  • enhancing the campaign and actions other social justice movements, and focus efforts in popularising aternative media/ICT tools and technologies
  • popularising critical analysis of the political economy of the media and ICT industries and its impact on freedom of speech and expression

Training Room

We have a training room with seven (7) computers for hands-on training and closer trainor-learner interaction

 Open Source

Isis advocates the use of Open Source software as a better alternative to commercial software. We will be using some free and readily available software in all our trainings, and we can also provide copies on CD-ROM.

 Radio Studio

We offer a comfortable, air conditioned venue ideal for producing educational audio materials, voice overs, dramas, and other presentations.
